HE Capital Announces Planned $4 Million Renovation to 14141 Southwest Freeway, Now the Lake Corporate Center; Retains Colvill Office Properties for Leasing and Marketing

HOUSTON – Colvill Office Properties, one of Houston’s most experienced and respected office leasing firms, has been selected to market the office space in the highly anticipated BLVD PLACE development. The 1.8 million square foot mixed-use project is under construction on the southwest corner of Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe in the prestigious Uptown District. BLVD PLACE will feature retail and restaurant space, office space, a luxury hotel and high-rise residences.
When completed, BLVD PLACE will be comprised of 350,000 square feet of office space in six architecturally distinctive buildings designed by DMJM Design in Los Angeles. According to lead architect Jose Palacios, each building offers unique space that is attractive to an array of office tenants. While certain buildings can accommodate users requiring large floor plates, others offer more intimate space that is ideal for small users. One building is designed to accommodate a major corporate tenant requiring up to 160,000 square feet. The first building in the project is currently under construction and will be available for occupancy in November of this year.

According to Wulfe & Co., the developer of BLVD PLACE, the project will be home to a new Whole Foods Market urban flagship store and over 100 upscale retailers including well known luxury brands, high-end specialty stores and local boutiques. In addition, the project will include a number of fine restaurants including Café Annie and Americas, and an upscale health club. In May, BLVD PLACE sold property to The Hanover Company for the development of a 37-story, 236 unit luxury apartment tower.
Colvill Office Properties was founded by Chip Colvill in 2002. The firm specializes solely in landlord representation and provides exclusive services to institutional owners of Class A properties through the Houston area.
