Houston Real Estate Veteran Ronnie Martin Joins Colvill Office Properties as Vice President, Business Development and Leasing

HOUSTON—Ronnie Martin has joined Colvill Office Properties as Vice President of Business Development and Leasing. With 27 years of experience in office leasing, Martin served as Senior Director of Leasing at Hines Interests until his retirement in June 2008. In his career, he has been responsible for leases totaling more than 10 million square feet in 30 office buildings, including Houston landmarks such as Williams Tower, Bank of America Center, Chase Tower and 1100 Louisiana.
A native of Pasadena, Texas, Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of North Texas, Denton, and a Master of Education degree from the University of Houston. In 2002, he was named Landlord Representative of the Year by the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association (HOLBA). He has also served as a board member of the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Brokers (NAIOP) and is a former member of the Galleria Rotary Club.

Colvill Office Properties was formed by Houston real estate industry veteran Chip Colvill in 2001, specializing in institutional Landlord Representation. Colvill has developed extensive expertise in commercial office building leasing in Houston, Texas over the past 25 years representing owners of major institutional office property. Like Martin, Chip Colvill was recently honored and recognized in both 2006 and 1999 by the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association as the top Office Building Owner’s Representative of the Year.
Colvill Office Properties currently directs leasing and marketing of an 8 million square foot portfolio in Houston. In an alliance with Thomas Properties, Colvill represents a 4 million square foot portfolio, including CityWestPlace, San Felipe Plaza, Brookhollow Central, and 2500 CityWest. On behalf of JMB Properties Company, Colvill directs the leasing and marketing for First City Tower, a 1,333,312 square foot office tower located in the Central Business. In addition, on behalf of Walton Street Capital, Colvill directs the leasing of the Galleria Office Towers, a 1 million square foot 3 building complex at the world-renowned Galleria complex as well as One Westchase Center, a 450,000 square foot building in the Westchase District. On behalf of Midway Companies, Colvill directs the office leasing activities for CityCentre, a mixed-use development located at the former Town & Country Mall site (445,000 square feet of office in 3 buildings). On behalf of Means Knaus and Carlyle, Colvill directs the pre-leasing activities for One and Two Oak Park, a 300,000 square foot new office development in the Oak Park area. On behalf of The Ellman Companies, Colvill represents The Lake Corporate Center, a 511,000 square foot office building in Sugar Land, Texas. And, on behalf of Wulfe & Co., Colvill directs office leasing of BLVD PLACE, a new mixed-use development in the Galleria/Uptown area, with 6 buildings to be constructed including approximately 350,000 square feet of office space.
